Prominent in the heavens above are a number of asterisms or constellations. Among the most important of those are the seasonal star-signs, which approach the horizon variously throughout the year. There are 12, each roughly corresponding to a single month of the calender. Sages have observed that individuals born when a particular sign is at the horizon tend to share certain character traits.

The Kernu

Emblematic of old Skandara, the Kernu is in the sky during Mudwash. It is a symbol of strength, wisdom, and confidence.

Those born under the Kernu are strong leaders and energetic. They tend to leap before they look. They are enthusiastic, energetic, confident, direct, and not afraid of conflict. They are competitive.
