Purnoz is worshipped on a daily basis by anyone who works with stone, minerals, or metals. Those who built the rose stone villas, and those who work the quarries now, start their days with the same chants. The dwarven lapidaries in the Burkhdyn Gazar, who shaped the famous “Irix Egg” diamond, sang the same intonations. He shows his wrath to those who neglect or cross him.
Purnoz is devoted to Dawa. Dawa, not one to be bound or possessed, also takes Ptomir as a lover, on occasion. When Purnoz, passionate and jealous, discovers any dalliance between Dawa and Ptomir, his jealousy can result in thunderstorms and even typhoons. He is often worshipped as part of the Triad, along with Dawa and Ptomir. Worshippers of the Triad seek to keep all three deities happy, hoping to keep tempests to a minimum and be spared the worst destruction. The vast majority of sailors worship the Triad regularly, and most people make offerings to them when typhoon season approaches.
