Hailing from the far northern city of Kelcarn, it’s surprising that the Dagarswans were a founding family of Moru Kel. Elnar Dagarswan, though, was the son of a well-off landholder who had a wandering eye and a distaste for the cold and snow. A great seafarer, he travelled further and further south, eventually meeting up with Jaleb Lango. His trade connections in the north proved compelling, and Elnar fell in love with the natural beauty of Kilpo Bay — and the idea of building his own city.
The Dagarswans are a successful trading family, with strong connections in their northern homeland: Kelcarn carrots are a particular delicacy. They also own many of the city’s mills, processing grain to feed the city population.
Sanobar Dagarswan is the current sahar of the house.
