The Lango family is the ruling family in Moru Kel. Originally from Esmi, Jaleb Lango founded the Moru Kel branch of the family along with the city itself.
The Langos have ruled the city for most of its existence, and have acted as patrons of some of the most important institutions in Moru Kel: from the creation of the original Campus of Semoz to the recent construction of the Moon Dome, their largesse has literally paved the way for the city’s greatness. The Royal Groves and numerous maize farms help feed the city, and they also own a host of fine establishments ranging from Chiru Fine Jewellers to Aldafi Cocoa and Chocolate and the Moru Kel Confectionery — something for everyone in the city can be purchased from their venues!
They have also been successful in building bonds outside of the city, with personal friendships helping build the original bond with Saffa, and business and diplomatic ventures from Esmi to Yul Fesch and from Tarsha to Kelcarn.
Marghoz Lango is the current reigning Marghoz of the city.
