Oveda Family

The Oveda family is one of the Founding Families of Moru Kel. Leonida Senza was the eldest daughter of the ruling family of Bessina, on Mezzi Island. Her father funded her and her husband Manetto Oveda’s involvement in the young community, and Leonida soon became the ruling sahra of one of the founding families.

The Ovedas leveraged Mezzian knowledge of shipbuilding into their core industry, and are considered the finest shipwrights in Moru Kel. Their ships also ply the waters of Kilpo Bay for its bounty of fish.

The Ovedas are also vast land-holders, including owning the majority of the Broadback Wood that lies within the city limits and various large tracts outside the walls. The recent boom in ochala exports has benefited the family greatly.

Felderon Oveda is the current sahar of the family.
