One of the founding families, the Rudlocks hailed from the city of Salassa (just north of Esmi). Adelos Rudlock was the eldest son of his family, but the prospect of being a lesser noble in what he perceived to be a small and dwindling city state excited him far less than the prospect of re-founding the great Urek capital. His choice proved wise, even though Salassa has held its own: Moru Kel’s meteoric rise has given the Rudlocks far more power than even the rulers in Salassa.
That said, the Rudlock’s success is modest compared to most of the other founding families. They focus mainly on agriculture and warehousing, with a few retail venues scattered througout the city.
