The Upwari are a merchant family of Iswari that live in the Burkhdyn Gazar. Aidyn and Nurla are their surviving elders; two of their children have moved away — Jerigo, their eldest, moved to Esme, while Armen moved to Moru Kel. With no working family in Zinghiri and having spent most of their savings to bail Armen out of debt, they are still working despite being of considerably advanced age.
