Week 22: Hamwho?

The party continued up the tower, finding a battle map from the time of the battle in Typor Citadel. The map showed that the Saffans were on the verge of triumph even without Therin’s intervention, prompting Pryus and Segira to vanish once they realized they had no unfinished business. Alongside the map was a strange window frame, with glass window and shutter, standing on the desk. The window looked out on an open field, with a clothesline on pulleys outside the window. Various clothes and purses hung from the line, some with valuable items in their pockets. Armin claimed the window.

The group ascended to the top of the tower, where the candle shed a ghostly green light across the floor. Hamru attacked, engaging in pitched battle. The group managed to defeat Hamru (banishing him back to his home plane) and grab the candle which had been extinguished by falling rocks during the battle. Jazil then leapt up to hold off the Unspeakable Atrocity (which had approached during the fight) as the NOOBs fled. They managed to scoop the possum family and flee to safety, at which point most of the possums stayed behind — but one intrepid possum named Copper continued with Tobias.

The NOOBs returned to New Typor city, where Baron Aitor rewarded them with a load of gold and asked them to deliver a message to the Marghoz of Moru Kel. They agreed, purchased a load of wine, and set sail for home . . .
