Looking through the big, strong-glass windows you can see finely crafted swords and daggers, even a scimitar and battleaxe. Some are decorated with jewels or carvings, while others are more simple; they all look to have viciously sharp blades.
The weapons all hang on the wall behind a long L-shaped counter. A balding, compact fellow stands behind the counter, polishing a smaller knife.
Another man sits on a stool just inside the door, which is propped open, glowering at you. He’s wearing a chain mail shirt with leather pants, boots and gloves. His exposed forearms and face show the fine white lines of many old scars. A sword rests in the scabbard attached to his belt and a metal shield rests against the wall in easy reach. It’s unusual to see an armed and armored guard in a business, but their wares are valuable and weapons.
